Location: 579 Broadway, prime flagship retail space located on the “Gateway to SoHo block” on Broadway between Prince & Houston Streets. The N,Q,R,W subway trains are ½ way down the block while F,B,D,M, & 6 subway trains around the corner on the block. In addition, M1, M55, SIM1, SIM1C, SIM33C, & SIM34 buses stop on the block, while the Hop-On-Hop-Off tourist bus stops 1 block south.

Adjacent Retailers: Prada flagship, Hugo Boss Flagship, & Other Stories Flagship, Verizon, Forever21, & American Eagle Flagship. Nike Flagship & Converse are one block south, while the Adidas flagship is one block north. Also Sephora, Bloomingdales & Uniqlo are1/2 block south.

C of O/ Zoning: 579 Broadway’s retail level is zoned Legal Retail UG-6. A new C of O for the building was obtained in late 2019. The building is free of violations.

Building Info: Built in 1860 by the Astor Family. The landmarked building has cast-iron columns on its facade along with a historic wooden storefront. The building underwent major renovations over the past 3 decades with upgrades to all the major systems. Given the building is under 6 stories, it is not subject to Local Law 11, helping insure that a sidewalk bridge will not cover the storefront every 5 years.
