The entire Grade A-listed venue or individual areas, owned and managed by the charity, Cromarty Arts Trust, can be hired for pop-up events, workshops, fairs, exhibitions, etc. Outside, the slope of the grounds around the u-shaped building forms a natural amphitheater creating a perfect setting for open-air theatrical and cultural events.

The Stables has a full Public Entertainment Licence and can accommodate a maximum of 120 guests at functions. The Gallery dimensions are 17m x 6m. This room has an art hanging system, projector and screen, baby grand piano, and full PA/lights/temporary staging that can be hired in addition if required. Chairs and tables are included with your hire if desired. There is a car parking area, lawn & grounds, and a downstairs 'tea point' with sinks, kettle, microwave, and fridge. There is wifi, though it is rather patchy and a mobile signal can only be accessed from certain spots within the grounds. There are 7 toilets, including one disabled toilet, HOWEVER, it should be noted that this venue is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or with mobility issues due to unavoidable stairs to reach the Gallery area and outside cobbles.
