Sihlcity covers around 160,000 m2, and this “new district” in the south of Zurich offers a diverse range of restaurants, bars, cafes, cinemas, a cultural center, office space, a health and wellness area, a hotel, a shopping center, service areas and city apartments.The Sihlcity shopping and leisure center in Zurich’s Enge quarter stands on the site of what was once a paper factory. The 65-meter (213ft) tall brick chimney and 3 other buildings have been successfully integrated into the “city within the city”. Sihlcity welcomes visitors to its shopping mall, several movie theaters located in the Arena Cinemas Sihlcity, a fitness and wellness center, various restaurants and bars, and at the Papiersaal concert venue. The youngest visitors can enjoy themselves at the Minicity childcare facility. During Christmas time, Sihlcity is transformed into a magical landscape with a fondue chalet, mulled wine stands etc.
