La Praille

The La Praille Shopping and Leisure Centre is one of the main shopping centres in the Geneva region. Located in Grand-Lancy, near the Stade de Genève, it opened in 2002 and offers numerous shops, restaurants and leisure activities such as a cinema, bowling alley and fitness centre. Thanks to this diversity of offerings, it is an important destination for shopping and leisure activities in the Geneva region. The centre is also easily accessible by public transport: several bus lines serve the Stade de Genève stop, the tram stops at nearby Bachet-de-Pesay, and Léman Express stations such as Lancy-Pont-Rouge are just a few minutes away. In addition, the centre is located within the Praille-Acacias-Vernets (PAV) urban development project, which aims to transform this industrial area into a new neighbourhood comprising housing, offices, shops and public spaces.
