Beschreibung

Located in the Design District/Showplace Square on Utah Street, the gallery is situated among numerous cultural institutions in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood. Approximately 4000 sq feet of usable space, divided between our main and side galleries plus a working kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Flooring is uncarpeted; concrete floors throughout the space.

Additional rates available:

Daytime: $2,500 (Sun/Mon, 10 am to midnight)
Buyout: $6,000 (any day, full day)

About our gallery:

Established in 1991, our gallery exhibits contemporary artists whose work is socially engaged. A range of media is represented including painting, sculpture, works on paper, and photography. The gallery has pioneered the presentation of new media art in SF, and is the first gallery in the city with a dedicated media room.

Representing twenty-five artists of diverse career levels and practices, solo exhibitions are complimented by media room installations. Gallery artists have garnered critical attention from numerous publications and exhibit in national and international venues. Collaboration and engagement with non-profit organizations is central to the gallery’s mission.

Hausregeln & Konditionen

Certificate of Liability required by the applicant in the amount of at least $2,000,000.00 naming our gallery as insured.

The renter is responsible for any damage to the artwork should it occur.

Capacity Specifications:

-200 people over the course of an evening for a reception
-100 people maximum at one time
-70 people for a seated dinner

All start and end times are inclusive of set up and clean up.

Due to the high cost of closing the gallery during daytime hours, rental prices are higher before 6 pm from Tuesday through Saturday.

Rates available:

Evenings: $1,500 (Tues-Sat, 5:30-midnight)
Daytime: $2,500 (Sun/Mon, 10 am to midnight)
Buyout: $6,000 (any day, full day)

Refundable cleaning and security deposit prices vary by rental fee.
