4,800 sq ft off-leash dog area with canine grade green lawns, public seating, and cocktail bar. This dog haven has year-round activities for the parentals to keep them entertained. Bark Yard (along with the Pocket Park and Play Zone) is part of STACKT’s Community Lane, a space that emphasizes the importance of curated public space in Toronto’s city core. The project transformed an empty laneway into an expansive 12,000 square feet of outdoor public space designed to spark activity, creativity, and community connection. It fosters creative placemaking through vibrant art and community driven programming to curate a space for the community to gather where was otherwise lacking this.
